Getting pinched on their bottom, especially at a workplace, is something women’ve always made much hue and cry about, but if such a thing is done by an invisible spirit, there is harldly anything one can do.

A lecherous ‘ghost’ at the Cornish Arms in St Blazey, Cornwall is reportedly getting cheeky with women at a pub, by pinching them on the bottom.

Staff working in the kitchen have reported a series of incidents with the groping ghoul at the 115-year-old inn.

Lisa Potter claims to have been spooked several times since taking over the pub six months ago with husband Craig.

“It goes very cold and then it feels as if someone is brushing up against you and touching your bottom,” The Sun quoted the 28-year-old, as saying.

The couple called in local medium Gayle Force, 52, who claims the pest is a former chef.

The village of Mawai Lama in the Malaysian state of Johor is a sleepy row of wooden fronted shop-houses set back from the Sedili River.

Yet Mawai is one of the most intriguing places in Malaysia.

According to local historians, Mawai’s original name was Mawas, and Mawas is the name locals give to a legendary creature known the world over as Bigfoot.

The people of Mawas certainly seem to believe in the creature from which their village takes its name.

Some, like Aji the boatman, say they have seen it.

“It was about 10 or 11 at night. I saw something, but I didn’t know what sort of creature it was. But I can definitely see the eyes were red. And it made a noise, Woooooo!” Aji said.

“Maybe it was scared off by my headlight and I was scared by him so we both rushed off in different directions and later I came back and found the footprints,” he said.

Hunt for food

Mawai lies at one end of the Panti mountains, a densely forested and steep-sloped ridge at the southern end of the Malay peninsular.

On the other side of the range is Kampung Batu Empat. A few weeks ago some unusual muddy footprints were found on the road nearby.

Vincent Chow, of the Malaysian Nature Society, had some photos.

“Based on what we’ve learned, this is the southern end of their migratory route and because the forests have become fragmented they’re rather confined now,” Mr Chow said.

Traces of the muddy prints were still on the road.

“They move around looking for fruits, sometimes they go looking for them in villages. They’re also looking for a mate and for salt.”

Prompted by the footprints and a recent spate of sightings, the Johor state government is planning a team to start looking for Bigfoot.

The reports of sightings are nothing new. Five years ago, while driving up Malaysia’s main North-South highway, public relations consultant Eva Hawa says she saw a creature fitting Bigfoot’s description crossing the road in broad daylight

“It was hairy, it was big, it was about six to seven feet tall. He moved right across in front of my car. He has a hunch and walked like a very old man,” she said.

Four days ago my [workers] heard Bigfoot calling in the jungle. They’ve found footprints
Abdul Rahman Ahmad

Factors which can be argued in favour of Bigfoot’s existence include the legends from different parts of the world which seem to bear a degree of similarity to one another, despite having emerged separately. There are the sightings. And there is the fact that a giant ape, Gigantopithecus blacki, is known to have lived in Asia until around 300,000 years ago.

And there is the discovery, on the Indonesian island of Flores in late 2004, of skeletons interpreted by some anthropologists as belonging to a hominid population dubbed hobbits. There are still natural wonders to be discovered, even in this day and age, not least in the forests of South East Asia.

The primatologist Jane Goodall is one of those who expect Bigfoot to be found.

“People from very different backgrounds and different parts of the world have described very similar creatures behaving in similar ways and uttering some strikingly similar sounds,” she said in a newspaper interview three years ago. “As far as I am concerned, the existence of hominids of this sort is a very real probability.”

Doubters

However, the doubters - and they are legion - ask why no giant ape remains more recent than a quarter of a million years old have been found. And as the forests and wilderness shrink, why has Bigfoot not broken cover and been definitively recorded?

One man who has no doubts is Abdul Rahman Ahmad, a former factory manager. His late brother was Johor’s Chief Game Warden and had seen Bigfoot footprints 30 years ago.

When we arrived to visit him, Abdul Rahman was very excited.

“Four days ago my [workers] heard Bigfoot calling in the jungle. They’ve found footprints.”

Early the next morning, accompanied by four of Abdul Rahman’s Indonesian workers, we set off to find the site where the prints were spotted. As we trekked through the forest there was a crashing in the trees. We had disturbed a herd of wild water buffalo.

But when we got to the riverside where the workers said they had seen Bigfoot tracks, all we found was buffalo hoof marks. There was nothing. We pressed on. I was shown a branch “broken by Bigfoot”, another stripped of leaves “by the ape man”.

For almost three hours the Indonesians led us through the trees, through rivers and for all I know around in circles.

Finally we reached the first river at a point higher up than we had originally explored.

And there, beside the river, in the soft sand, were footprints.

They were distinctive, perhaps 20cm across and 40, perhaps 45cm long.

There was a bulge where a human corn might be, as though the foot had an opposable thumb rather than a big toe. There were three of them, some better defined, some more complete, than others.

All I can tell you is they were big, they were foot shaped and they were there.

The famous Indian director T. Rajeevnath, who is scouting for candidates for the lead role in a film about Mother Teresa, has sent the script to the renowned hotel heiress Paris Hilton. The director of agency IANS confirm that its agents have been in touch with Paris Hilton.
Rajeevnath said that he was impressed by the fact that Paris Hilton has refused to pose nude in Playboy magazine. Once he had heard about this, he decided to try her for the part of Mother Teresa. The film will be shot in India, particularly in Western Bengal and several foreign countries.

Rajeevnath, 54, has won a prestigious national award for best director and also many international awards. His films include, “Moksham”, “Janani” and “Thannal”.

“Mother Teresa” will be Rajeevnath’s eleventh film. A few international production houses have already expressed their interest in producing the film. The budget is expected to be about $11.3m.

There are several other actresses beside Paris Hilton who want to audition for the role of Mother Teresa, but the final decision will be made later. The director plans to give the proceeds from the film to charity. Shooting of the film will begin at the start of 2007. The director hopes to receive the blessing of the Pope for the film.

It must be noted that the scandalous reputation of Paris Hilton does not exactly match the pious image of Mother Teresa. She has been in many well-known sex scandals. At the end of last year Paris’s lover Tom Sizemore published photographs which showed him having sex with her.

The first sex scandal occurred when Hilton was only 18 years old and her partner Ricky Solomon was 37 years old. Pictures were posted on the internet of the hotel heiress naked. Soon after this a sex tape with Paris Hilton in appeared on the internet.

After the huge scandal, Hilton promised that nobody would ever see her naked body again. She has even refused to pose in a swimsuit in films and has rejected several contracts with famous fashion houses who have asked her to market underwear.

Last year people even tried to deceive the hotel heiress into taking off her clothes. The owner of Playboy magazine Hugh Hefner offered Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie a million dollars to pose nude. In actual fact Hefner promised this money to Nicole if she persuaded her co-star in the film “Simple Life” to pose naked for Playboy. He did not get away with the scam. The sexy star’s refusal evidently impressed director Rajeevnath.

Yesterday it became known that Paris Hilton unknowingly handed over her archive or erotic diaries to the general public. On this occasion not only Paris Hilton’s diaries but also many of her personal possessions fell into the hands of a stranger who it seems is a rather smart chap.

Paris forgot to pay the rent for her lock-up, where she kept her diaries and a load of her other personal items. The owners of the lock-up, not bothering to find out who the place belonged to, entered and as such people often do in such situations, gave the items to the first person that wanted to buy them.

The purchaser ended up with a lot of rather sensitive material. Amongst the items is a video in which Hollywood heart-throb Colin Farrel is having sex.

David Hans Schmidt has offered to sell the collection of Paris’s things for the “symbolic” sum of $20m.

Farfrompoopen Road, the only road to Constipation Ridge, lost to Divorce Court and Psycho Path, which placed No. 1 in an online poll of the nation’s wildest, weirdest and wackiest street names.

Mitsubishi Motors sponsored the poll on the Web site

and more than 2,500 voters cast their ballots during a week of voting that ended this month. Winners were announced Friday.

“Our readers really stepped up with some insane street names,” said Web site publisher Paul Eisenstein. “Our panel had a difficult time narrowing several hundred down to the 10 our readers voted on.

“But we learned a lot about the byways of this country, not to mention the collective sense of humor of city planners everywhere.”

In first place was Psycho Path in Traverse City, Mich., followed by Heather Highlands, Pa.’s, Divorce Court in second and Tennessee’s Farfrompoopen Road in third. Eisenstein said all the roads were verified, although some are private and hard to find.

The complete top 10 list included:

10. Tater Peeler Road in Lebanon, Texas

Banned From Talking To All Women

Landmark Asbo goes to sex pest flasher
By Richard SmithA FLASHER has been banned from talking to ALL women after he admitted exposing himself to a young student.

Thomas Brown, 43, was given the Antisocial Behaviour Order - thought to be the first one of its kind.

It states he is not allowed to “approach or engage in conversation any female except his immediate family in the United Kingdom”.

However, it does allow Brown to speak to female bank cashiers, lawyers, shop assistants, doctors, dentists and nurses - but only in a professional capacity.

If he tries to chat up any woman within the next five years, without the supervision of another adult over the age of 21, he could be jailed.

The ruling also bars him from approaching anyone under the age of 18, or going into any pub or off-licence.

Truro crown court, Cornwall, heard how Brown “terrified” a young girl student by performing a sex act in front of her on the Isles of Scilly as he smoked a cigarette.

He was lurking on a coastal path when the undergraduate who was out walking on holiday - stumbled across him in April last year.

Prosecutor Iain Leadbet-ter said: “Brown has had a reputation as a nuisance on the islands for a number of years.”

John Trevaskis, defending, said his client had been going through “a rough patch” and has since got help for his alcohol problems.

He said Brown would not be returning to the islands.

Sentencing Brown to 104 days in prison and imposing the Asbo restrictions, Judge Philip Wassall, said: “I can only imagine how terrified the girl must have felt when confronted by you.

“By pleading not guilty at first, you must have put her through hell fearing she would have to give evidence?”

Bachelor Brown, who lived at St Marys on the islands, admitted indecently exposing his genitals intending that the girl should see them and be caused alarm or distress.

He was also put on the sex offenders’ register for five years.
